I am here to help you navigate life as a highly sensitive person. It is hard to live in a world that is so harsh when you have a central nervous system that has high level processing abilities. You are not alone!

    Do you get overwhelmed easily?

    If you are a highly sensitive person, chances are you experience emotions intensely and get overwhelmed easily around stimuli such as crowds of people, bright lights, smells, and other people's moods. This can make things difficult when you need to travel, go to large events, or even have to spend time with your family and friends.
     
    Western society constantly shames individuals for being highly sensitive while eastern society treasures those who are highly sensitive because often they are capable of having higher levels of compassion for others. Maybe growing up your parents had no idea how to raise a highly sensitive child and instead of cultivating your gift, they traumatized you for being "different."

    My name is Mallory Beckwith and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I know first hand what it is like to be shamed for being a highly sensitive person. I would love to help you get rid of negative programming that makes you think there is something wrong with you and then help you understand who you are and what you have to offer the world on a higher level.

    In session, Mallory will provide you with a safe space to explore your authentic self as a highly sensitive person. Mallory will provide psycho education on the scientific research and studies done on highly sensitive people and discuss how it applies to you specifically. Mallory will provide guidance and empathy as you process what your life, career, relationships, and goals are as a highly sensitive person. Mallory will explore with you ways to strengthen your gifts as a highly sensitive person and ways to change how you related to life to make it more enjoyable!
